Transportation
The primary way to reach Big Corn Island is by air. La Costeña airlines operates daily flights from Managua (MGA). Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Bluefields, but this is a much longer journey (approximately 6-8 hours) and the schedule can be unreliable. Once on the island, taxis and buses are available for getting around.
